Question by Kevin J: How do I design a rectangular conctrete foundation for the depth of the concrete?
there is a moment of 1600 KN.m in the middle of a 3 by 1.6 m concrete foundation and a concentrated load of 3300 KN right at the middle (centroid of the area). the foundation is to be placed on a strong floor ( infinity shear strength, no soil deflections considered).
I need the depth of the concrete.

Take the compressive strength of the concrete to be 40 Mpa
the rectangular foundation is held in place by four 33 inch bolts at the corners (the foundation is bolted to the strong floor). assuming that they have enough strength to hold the concrete on the floor.
