Pelton turbines are usually operated with running water. I was wondering if it could be also used with compressed air.

However I do not know if it exist in the market. Both fluids are completly different. I do not know if the efficiency would be ok

Yes, but hydraulic energy is available from dams and streams, but compressed air would have to be produced by an energy-using source. There would be net loss, rather than net gain.
