A spreadsheet is a computer application that simulates a paper worksheet. It displays multiple cells that together make up a grid consisting of rows and columns, each cell containing either alphanumeric text or numeric values. A spreadsheet cell may alternatively contain a formula that defines how the contents of that cell is to be calculated from the contents of any other cell (or combination of cells) each time any cell is updated. Here you will find spreadsheets related to civil engineering which will reduce the work load of complicated and time consuming calculations.

I have noticed in the Hydraulic Structure Design Spreadsheet HYDRODESIGN[1], Worksheet CONNECTING CHANNEL Cell E130, the Excel formula entered for delta y does not match the formula displayed. In the displayed formula, “b” is below the line and hence part of the denominator, whereas in the Excel formula, that appears in cell E130, “b” is effectively above the line. The multiplication by “b” operation needs to be bracketed to ensure that b remains below the division line.
These softwears are Very Important and needed softwears who is working in civil engineering field. iam very thank full to Author.
best civil engg. site
best one yar..
best
but I need more on earth work calculations.
thanxxx
very useful page.
Usefull site
really nice work,
tnx
Thanx. It is very well appreciated. Keep up the good work!
really nice work……………Appreciable!
very helpful
