How is Swirl Finish Made?
Swirling concrete surface begins at the last round of floating operation by moving the trowel in swirls or circles. Alternatively, the floating works can be finalized and then deeper and larger swirls can be generated. The depth and shape of swirl finish can be changed as per the customer's desire.
Practical Considerations
By and large, the type of concrete finish shall be selected in such a way that it does not influence the durability and strength of the concrete in future. In this regard, swirl finish needs to be designed in a manner that prevents water trapping otherwise the concrete surface may get weakened by standing water and may lead to damages.
