Why are fly ash bricks not used so frequently as compared to red bricks even though fly ash bricks offer better quality and strength, particularly in India?

    Because Fly Ash bricks have low mechanical strength. The another major factor is the limitation on size of fly ash bricks.Only small and modular sizes of bricks are possible.
