Mechanism of rotating Tower:
Mechanism of rotating Tower is very interesting to understand.
1)The whole steel structure is constructed with reference to Central Core and highly reinforced Foundation.
2)Driving system- every flower in the rotating Tower can be rotated around the central Core which is connected by rails.
3) Load cases: Different loads that are dead load life load wind load and earthquake loads are taken into account while designing the rotating Tower.
4)Optimisation analysis: The stresses and deformation directly acting on the core of the rotating tower are very high.
5)Alternative designs of the rotating tower:
6) Architect name:
7) Shape of rotating Tower:
8) Height of rotating Tower:
9) Current need:
10)Speciality of rotating Tower:
Hi, the rotating tower is designed by an architect David fisher in 2006. It is an 80 storey building which is 420 metres above the ground which can be able to rotate 360 degrees.
The concept behind the rotating tower, it has multiple numbers of followers which can independently rotate with a common axis. The flowers are only attached with access and not with each other. Therefore the whole building can be transformed into various shapes. The original height of the rotating tower is 345 metres.
Initially, the construction of common access at the centre of the building takes place, then all the surrounding floor was should be constructed independently with each other. In this way, the whole building should be constructed and open for public use at the end of 2020.
