From my view M.Tech will be the best option after B.Tech because it holds many job opportunities with it. A candidate can get job easily in research and development organizations, manufacturing firms, and IT companies as project manager, Research Associate and Senior Engineers.

The purity of cement can be checked by following ways :-
    1. RUBBING :- Take a small quantity of cement between your fingers and rub it. It must feel smooth while rubbing but if it feels rough than adulteration with sand.

    2. HAND INSERTION :- Insert your hand into the cement bag and it should give cool feeling. Hence this cool feeling indicates that there is no hydration reaction is taking place in the bag.

    3. FLOAT TEST :- It is tested by throwing a small quantity of cement in a bucket of water. Thus it should sink and should not float on the surface.

    4. SMELL TASTE :- Take some quantity of cement and smell it. If the cement contains too much of pounded clay and silt as an adulterant, the paste will give an earthy smell.

    5. PRESENCE OF LUMPS :- See that the lumps should not be present in the bag while opening the bag. Thus it ensures that no setting has taken place.

    6. COLOUR :- Basically, the cement should be uniform in colour. Generally the colour of cement is grey with a light greenish shade. The colour of cement gives an indication of excess lime or clay and the degree of burning.

    7. DATE OF PACKING :- Date of manufacturing should be seen on the bag. It is most important because the strength of cement reduces with age.

OPC 53 :- The 53 grade OPC is higher strength cement to meet the needs of the consumer for higher strength concrete. As per BIS requirements the minimum 28 days compressive strength of 53 grade OPC should not be less than 53 Mpa. Therefore, there is a vast difference in setting time of these cements. It sets very quicker and has low initial setting time. These types of cement can be used where rapid hardening is not needed.

Sugar meddles with the concrete restricting cycle in the solid. Note that solid and concrete are not equivalent. Concrete is made by consolidating concrete, water and a filler material called a “total,” like rock or sand. Most concrete is produced using limestone and dirt. It responds with water to frame a solidifying glue that ties the total together to create hard concrete. This solidifying cycle is called hydration.

One hypothesis recommends that when the solid combination contains sugar, the sugar particles connect themselves to the hydrating solidify and repress the synthetic responses associated with hardening the material.

sugar builds the centralizations of calcium, aluminum, and iron in concrete. The sugar particles consolidate with these metals to frame insoluble compound buildings that coat the concrete grains. A few key synthetic cycles that solidify the solid are then hindered. Hydration hinders the cycle and the solid takes more time to set. Thus, sugar is known as a retarder. Retarders increment the setting season of cement.

Refined white sugar is extraordinary compared to other retarders. Lactose, the sugar found in milk, is a moderate retarder. Trehalose, a sugar created by different parasites, is non-hindering and doesn’t influence setting time.

If a cement has exposed to extreme moisture content then the specific gravity of cement will differ because of the moisture content present in the pores. Every material has solid particles and pores which may contain water in it. So it is essential to determine the specific gravity of cement before using it.

Water is not used in the testing of specific gravity of cement because cement reacts with water and forms compounds. Thus, the quantities measured prior to the commencement of test will not be same after the test.
