Hi, In simple words, the site plan is a detail of a plot area under the boundary of a building. It is a plan of the owner and used for the construction of an owners building.

The layout plan is a plan of a layout which include the site plan, parks, gardens, community drainage etc. It is a plan used for the construction of commercial buildings.

layout plan includes many numbers of the site plan.

What is difference between site plan and layout plan?

    Site plan and layout plan

Definition of site plan and layout plan is already discussed in the previous post, so here I am mainly focusing on its differences.

Difference between site plan and layout plan :

    • In the site plan, detail of exterior portions surrounding in a building structure is shown
    • Both the site plan and layout plan are orthographic projection drawing viewed from above the ground working down
    • Floor plans include interior walls, stairs and show openings
    • Site plants show outdoor structures like paving roads and another element within and beyond the boundary
    • Floor plan focuses on the interior portions up to the outer boundaries of the building
    • Site plans include the outline of a building

(Please refer the above diagram for a clear understanding of the above topic.)

    Site plan:-

Sit plan, including the details of the area of plot or land beyond the boundary of the building. It is drawing at a small scale level.

    Layout plan:-

Layout plan is including the decision of physical arrangements of all resources like desk, work center, cabinet, person, office, etc.

The site layout is the part of the site plan. The site layout is the part of the construction plan that focuses mainly on the physical space of the construction site and the layout plan includes physical management of the things.
