    7. New Projects are under hold.
    8. Old Projects are not getting to finish.

    Construction industry is facing huge difficulty due to COVID. lot of corporate companies are terminating engineers due to projects are under hold, projects are cancelled, etc.. even material price are getting increase 8 to 10%. Skilled workers are returned to native places. no right labour are available.. Crane operator are not available. idle charges are getting increased day by day… lot of companies may be closed their office due to covid if this will continue for another 3 months..

    The construction and the real estate industry are one of the major industries that have got a hit because of COVID-19. It actually falls in the top 5 industries that have got impacted the most due to the COVID-19.

    You and I both know that the industry even before COVID was in very bad shape. The virus has just made things worst. I personally always thought the real estate in such an investment where your money invested would never decline. The investment may be stagnant but not decline. But this COVID 19 impact has changed my opinion. I came across an article that said, “properties in premium locations of Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Delhi see a 10-15% decline in property prices.” I woke up to the most shocking news.

    The effect of COVID-19 on the construction industry has deepened the wounds. The industry was seeing some hope of recovery at the start of 2020, but before things could stabilize, COVID hit the industry very hard. It’s going to be difficult for the players in this industry. With so many banks getting caught for their NPA frauds, the banks are also going to be very careful while lending money.

    In short, to summarize, this industry that saw some rays of hope at the start of 2020 has all vanished. Builders are going to find it very difficult to complete their projects due to stall at bank lending hence the industry is going to take at least 2-3 other years to recover and bloom again as it did before.

    From my perspective, Acer predator triton 300 will be the best laptop for civil engineers because we engineers need to use heavy softwares. So, recently I'm also using this laptop which is giving me best experience.

    Resection Method.

    This method is used for establishing the instrument stations or after completing the traverse surveying the important object cannot be located due to difficulties & missed the station. PROCESS:-

    1. Select the two stations P & Q on the ground & measure the length PQ & plot to a scale pq on a suitable scale.
    2. Set the table at P , Centre, & level the table so that the point p is over the P.
    3. Place the alidade along pq, orient the table by turning the board until the signal at Q is bisected, & then clamp it.
    4. With the alidade touching at p sight the station R & draw a ray p to r.
    5. Shift the table at R. & make the center & level & sight the point P by back sighting & clamp the table.
    6. With the alidade centered on q, sight the station Q & draw a ray. The point of intersection of this ray & that previously drawn from p gives the reqd point r.

    PHOTOGRAMMETRIC IN SURVEY :-

    At first photogrammetry is the science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the environment through the process of recording, measuring and interpreting photographic images and patterns of electromagnetic radiant imagery and other phenomena.

    Here in surveying photogrammetric surveying or photogrammetry is the branch of the surveying in which maps are prepared from photo-graphs taken from ground or air stations. It is the making of precise measurements from photographs; the making of maps from photographs especially from aerial surveying. In this method, object are measured without being touched.

    -BROADLY PHOTOGRAMMETRY REQUIRES :-
    * Planning and taking photographs
    * Processing the photographs
    * Measuring the photographs and reducing the measurement to produce end results

    -FIELD APPLICATION OF PHOTOGRAMMETRY :-
    * Used to conduct topographical survey or engineering surveys
    * Suitable for mountainous and hilly terrain having little vegetation
    * Used for geological mapping which includes identification of land, forms, rock types and rock structures
    * Used in urban and regional planning applications
