    Why India lacks safety?

    This is a big question to be questioned as far as safety is concerned. so I have put some reason of it.

    In India the reasons for lack of  safety in construction practices are due to following reasons as mentioned below:

    1. Lack of proper technique and training in the laborers or workman:They are doing the same mistakes again and again just because they don’t know the right technique. There is need to educate them.
    2. Ongoing poor attitude towards the safety parameters
    3. Lack of safety equipment: lots of labors don’t have proper kits for construction operations.
    4. Less safety inspections
    5. Unsafe sequencing of construction due to lack of guidance
    6. Lack of safety regulations bodies at ground level

    Safety is the first and foremost need of any country.

    The reason behind why this India lack world-class safety practices that are normal in western worlds are as follows;

    • Work organisations and working culture does not support the health and safety of workers.
    • Lack of managerial system.
    • No personnel policy regarding this issue.
    • No idea about principles for participation.
    • Lack of training policies.
    • No quality management scheme for the undertaking.
