Foundation is a bottom structure of a building that transfers loads or gravity loads to the ground surface. Generally, categorized into two types:
For multi-story building deep foundation is used to provide stability. Briefly, foundation constructed in 7 steps
When should we opt for continuous footing?
AdityaBhandakkar
The continuous footing is provided to supports more than two columns. It is analogous to strip footing used to support walls. It transfers loads to beams and then beams to ground. Continuous wall footing supports RCC wall and long masonry effectively. Following are some other types of footing; IsolaRead more

Due to less of the quantity of cement, water/cement ration increased which also increase the void ratio.
It’s affected the future durability.
For remedial measures , first, need to investigate the foundation for various measures and then do suitable remedial measures.
Effects due to less amount of cement mix
Difference between Gross Bearing Capacity and Safe Bearing Capacity of Soil?

Gross bearing capacity of the soil is a bearing capacity due to gross loads.
In gross bearing loads building loads, foundation loads, overburden loads should be considered. For design, gross bearing capacity value not take in consideration due to its high value.
Safe bearing capacity does not include overburden pressure and foundation weight. It is anet soil pressure considering shear failure.
Safe bearing capacity value for different types of soil

Autoclaved aerated concrete blocks
Interlocking blocks
Lightweight cellular concrete blocks
Following are some modern concrete blocks:
Nowadays concrete blocks are the best alternative for traditional burnt bricks. It allows us to construct high rise buildings with a long lifespan. It gives high strength and resistant to climatic conditions.

Ex for foundation ,wall covering, parapet covering, boundary walls etc.
You asked a general question about stone. So it literally depends upon geographic location, environmental conditions, and where it use.
If I give a theoretical answer then,
Stone must be strong,
Durable,
Appearance-wise good -Gives nice look to wall, t
stone with zero porosity,
stone with fire resistant,
stone with dense mass and light in weight for wall and heavy for foundation.

Ductility makes bars suitable for earthquake-prone area where it resists sudden shocks and save structure.
Ductility is a property of a material that allows it to elongates after tensile loads; sudden shocks are applied.
